Rachel is an Associate Solicitor with Askews Solicitors. Since joining Askews in 2009 as trainee solicitor, Rachel has specialised in civil litigation and dispute resolution, subsequently qualifying here at Askews in 2011.
Rachel has extensive experience in all areas of civil litigation, ranging from complex personal injury and clinical negligence claims to contractual disputes and consumer law matters, right through to landlord/tenant matters and property disputes. She has an excellent understanding of taking cases to Trial, negotiating settlements, mediation and has also provided representation at Inquests.
She regularly advises letting agents, landlords and tenants on a range of housing matters, including possession proceedings, tenancy deposit disputes and housing disrepair claims.
Rachel has a particular interest in personal injury and clinical negligence claims and during her career she has dealt with a wide variety of complex and high value claims, including cases involving catastrophic injury, chronic pain syndromes, delays in diagnosis and fatal claims.
